Ambition
The intuition that led to the creation of the Kodak Home emerged during a time when I was going down the memory lane of the photo album on my phone. Today we hoard thousands of photos in our phones, but we don’t view and enjoy them. How may we make them be available to view for everyone and be re-memorized again?
“The memories are contained in the ones on display. It’s not just about which ones contain the most “memorable” scene; it’s about which ones are available to view and enjoy.”

Process
The design of Kodak home uses simple shapes. In its simplest form, it could sit at your bedside table, or on a bookshelf in living room. Kodak Home derives its shape and proportions from traditional photo frame. It is in essence just a triangle supporting a slate.
Solution
Kodak Home is photo-oriented smart hub that encourage family members to gather around and to spark conversation between people.
THE CIRCULAR SCREEN
Looking through a circular screen is almost like looking into another world. It brings new experiences and perspective to a viewer. It allow users to travel through time and dive back into their past moments. The circular screen also has a cultural reference of a camera lens and clock.
